About Chamber
The Brighton Chamber of Commerce is a partnership among businesses, professionals, and other institutions in the Town working with government officials to promote the economic well being of our community, businesses and institutions.
The chamber is led by an elected board of directors, that determines policy and goals, and a committee structure that implements the policies and goals set by the board. Officers are elected by the board.
Goals & Objectives
The Brighton Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to preserving a competitive and responsible free enterprise system for businesses by creating:
- A climate that encourages the expansion and growth of business.
- An environment of understanding and mutual respect between the business community and government.
- A better understanding and appreciation of the importance of business in our society in general and the Brighton community in particular.
Community Awards & Activities
The Chamber of Commerce presents several annual awards which recognize the accomplishments of businesses, individuals and students in our community.
- Annual scholarship
- This scholarship recognizes a high school senior who is a resident of Brighton and intends to pursue a business education in college.
- Memorial Plaque
- The Chamber has dedicated the plaque annually since 1993. This honor is bestowed on a person who has made an impact on the Brighton community.
- Community Service Award
- This award recognizes an individual involved in a non-profit organization and to an organization that has served the community.
- Building Pride in Brighton Award
- This award, established in 1993, provides public recognition to a business that has improved the quality of life in Brighton through property enhancements or outstanding achievements.
Additionally, the Chamber sponsors annual events which benefit the community.

- Members have the opportunity to attend a variety of forums with speakers addressing topics of local interest and concern.
- Greet & Meets and other social activities
